1. To advance public education about the disadvantageous treatment at work of members of the community on grounds of sex, colour, race, nationality, ethnic or national origins, religion or belief, age, disability, sexual orientation or family or other status and thereby promote equality of opportunity and good relations between persons with these differing characteristics or beliefs.
2. To promote and carry out or assist in promoting and carrying out research into such treatment at work and to disseminate the useful results of such research for the benefit of the public.
