• The 2009 Wainwright Trust Evening. Another successful Wainwright Trust Evening took place on Wednesday, 17 June 2009 at the Royal College of Physicians, Regent's Park, London.
The Equality Question Time was chaired by the journalist and broadcaster Katharine Whitehorn (centre in picture above). The panel was (left to right) Baroness Prosser of Battersea (Deputy Chair, Equality and Human Rights Commission), John Bowers QC, Charlotte Sweeney (Global Head of Diversity and Inclusion, Nomura International) and Sushel Ohri (Director of Group Equality and Inclusion, Transport for London).

• Filmed archive of the struggle for Equal Pay. The Trust is proud that it was able to provide funding to enable the Trades Union Congress to pilot a series of films of those involved in early equal pay disputes. Armed with the pilot films the TUC has been able to obtain funding for much more to provide a lasting record of these important events. Click here for fuller details.
